Search for Thor - 2025 Update

I am pleased to announce that I have completed the manuscript for my memoir, The Search for Thor. The book is currently being translated into Norwegian by a Berlin-based Norwegian translator, whose expertise and encouragement have been invaluable in helping me reach this stage of the project.

My next step is to submit the manuscript to several Norwegian publishers in the hopes of generating interest before sending the Norwegian translation to the Hjemmefront Museum (Norwegian Resistance Museum) in Oslo as part of my application for a publishing grant.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude, first and foremost, to my family for their unwavering support—listening, reading, and providing invaluable feedback throughout this years-long research journey.

The book will be dedicated to my mother, Berit I. Brown (Jensen) who passed away last year before I could complete the book. She spent months translating Thor’s diary and for that I will be forever grateful.
