Residency 2020
In February 2020 I decided on a whim to search for, and apply for an artist residency anywhere in Norway. I felt I needed to be in Norway in order to write the novel on Thor. I found several interesting residency programs, a few with deadlines that I had missed, and one that appeared to still be open for applications. I applied. I assumed I wouldn’t hear back for a few months, but four days after I applied, I got an email saying I got in! I will be at the Atelier Austmarka for a 3-week period this summer to WRITE!
